Community Guidelines
Turkish and English versions are provided for convenience. No language version is declared to override the other.
Everything a Boss puts on a territory is public and permanent enough to matter: a handle, a name, an avatar, a short pitch and one link. These guidelines say what may go there and what may not, how to report something, how reports are reviewed, and what happens after a decision. The shortest version: be who you say you are, send people where you say you are sending them, and never pretend a claim is real land.
1. What these guidelines cover
These guidelines apply to every part of your public presence on World of Bidders: your handle, display name, avatar, short pitch and promotional link, and the destination that link leads to.
They apply to what you post and to what you promote. A link to content that would break these guidelines breaks them just as much as posting the content here would.
2. Illegal goods and services
Do not promote anything whose sale or supply is illegal where you or your audience are: controlled substances, prescription medicines sold outside a regulated channel, weapons and weapon parts, stolen goods, forged documents, counterfeit products, stolen credentials or payment data, or services that exist to break the law.
3. Fraud and deception
Do not use a territory to run a scam. That includes fake shops, advance-fee schemes, fake giveaways and airdrops, fake support desks, romance and investment lures, recruitment fraud, and any offer whose real purpose is to take money or credentials from the person who clicks.
Do not misrepresent what you are offering, who is offering it, or what it costs.
4. Impersonation
Do not present yourself as a person, company, brand, publication, charity or public body you are not, and do not imply an affiliation, sponsorship or partnership that does not exist.
Parody and commentary are allowed only when the profile makes clear, without having to click anything, that it is not the real thing.
5. Malware and phishing
Do not link to malware, spyware, ransomware, drive-by downloads, cryptocurrency miners, or any page whose purpose is to compromise a device.
Do not link to a page that imitates a sign-in screen, a payment page, a bank, a wallet, or this service, in order to collect credentials, seed phrases, card numbers or one-time codes.
6. Hateful content
Do not attack, dehumanise, demean or call for the exclusion of people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, immigration status, religion, caste, disability, serious disease, age, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
Do not use hate symbols, slurs, or claim a territory in order to attach a hateful message to the place or the people who live there.
7. Targeted harassment
Do not use a territory to target a specific person or a small group with abuse, threats, sexual harassment, stalking, or a sustained campaign of hostility.
Do not organise or ask others to join a pile-on. Claiming a territory that is meaningful to someone in order to harass them is harassment, whatever the pitch text says.
8. Sexual and pornographic material
Do not post or link to pornography, sexually explicit imagery, or sexual services. This includes suggestive avatars and pitch text used to advertise adult content, and links to adult platforms.
9. Exploitative material
Do not post or link to material that sexualises minors, depicts child abuse, depicts non-consensual sexual activity, or promotes human trafficking or exploitation of any kind. There is no context in which this is permitted.
Content of this kind is removed on sight, the account is closed permanently, and the operator reports it to the appropriate authorities.
10. Violence
Do not glorify, threaten, incite or organise violence. Do not promote terrorist or violent extremist organisations, and do not post gore or graphic violence.
Do not encourage self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating, and do not link to material that does.
11. Private personal information
Do not publish another person's private information: home address, phone number, private email address, government identifier, financial account details, medical information, workplace details when used to enable harassment, or non-public images of them.
Do not publish your own sensitive information in a public profile either. Your handle, name, avatar, pitch and link are visible to everyone.
12. Misleading financial claims
Do not promise returns, income, profit or a guaranteed outcome. Do not present a claim on this service, or anything you link to, as an investment, a security, a token sale, a yield product or a revenue share.
Do not use the price of a territory as evidence of a financial opportunity. The price is a rule of a game and never a return.
13. Honest link destinations
One promotional link is allowed. It must be HTTPS, must resolve to a public host, and must land on the destination it implies.
Prohibited: redirect chains, cloaking, showing reviewers a different destination than visitors, shorteners that hide where the link goes, destinations that change after review, automatic downloads, forced app-store redirects, and pages that immediately open something other than what was described.
14. Spam and manipulation
Do not use multiple accounts to evade limits or enforcement, do not claim territories in bulk in order to blanket the map with the same message, do not post repetitive or nonsensical pitch text to game search, and do not automate claiming in a way that degrades the service for other people.
15. Someone else's work
Do not use an avatar, image, logo, name or text that you do not have the right to use, and do not link to pirated content or to services that exist to distribute it.
The Copyright Policy explains how to report an infringement and how a report is handled.
16. No fake official endorsement
Do not present a claim as recognised, approved, licensed or endorsed by a government, a municipality, an agency, a public official, a court, a tourism board, or any other authority.
Do not use official seals, flags, coats of arms, uniforms, or badge-like design in a way that implies you speak for a public body.
17. Never present a claim as real land
Do not describe, advertise, sell, list or imply that a claim on this service is ownership of land, a property purchase, a deed, a title, a plot, an estate, a sovereign right, or a right over the people in a territory.
This is the single line the product cannot allow to blur. Content that crosses it is removed even when everything else about the profile is fine.
18. Reporting something
Anyone can report a Boss, a link or a territory from the interface, without an account for obvious safety issues. Say what is wrong and, if the problem is the destination rather than the pitch, say so, because the two are reviewed differently.
Reports are not public and the person reported is not told who reported them.
19. How reports are reviewed
Reports are read by a person. Reviewers check the profile content and, where the report concerns a link, the destination as a visitor would see it.
Severe cases, especially exploitative material and active phishing, are actioned immediately. Everything else is reviewed in order, and the reporter is told the outcome.
20. What happens after a decision
Depending on severity, the operator may remove the link, avatar, pitch or handle while leaving the claim in place; hide the placement; restrict the account; suspend it; or close it permanently.
Enforcement does not by itself create a refund. The Refund Policy sets out what money comes back, and applicable law is followed where it requires more.
21. Appealing a decision
If you believe a decision was wrong, write to buzzicra@gmail.com from the account's email address, say what was removed, and explain why it does not break these guidelines.
Appeals are reviewed by a person who was not part of the original decision where that is possible. Decisions about exploitative material are not reversed.
