Refund Policy
Turkish and English versions are provided for convenience. No language version is declared to override the other.
A settled claim is normally final, because you received exactly what you paid for: the territory, at the price you set, for as long as nobody outbid you. Being outbid is the game, not a fault. Money does come back in four situations: a duplicate charge, a paid checkout that arrived too late to take the territory, a technical failure on our side, and an unauthorised payment. Statutory rights are unaffected.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to every payment made to World of Bidders for a claim: a first claim on an unclaimed territory, a takeover, and a payment by the current Boss to strengthen a claim. It is part of the Terms of Service, and you accept it by version before each payment.
All amounts are in US dollars, and every refund is returned to the original payment method through Stripe. There is no balance, wallet or credit, so a refund is never issued as store value.
2. Settled claims are normally final
When a payment settles, the claim is delivered immediately: the territory shows your handle, name and link, your Boss title applies, the price becomes the target you set, and the claim appears in the public ledger.
Because delivery is instant and complete, a settled claim is normally final. The value you bought is the placement and the title for as long as you hold them, and that value was delivered the moment the payment settled.
3. Being outbid is not a refund event
If someone pays more than you and takes a territory, you are not refunded. You held the territory for the whole period between your settlement and theirs, and that is what your payment bought.
There is no partial refund for a short reign, no compensation for a fast takeover, and no minimum holding period. A rising price is the rule of the game and never a defect in what you received.
4. Duplicate charges
If the same claim is charged more than once, the extra charges are refunded in full. This covers a browser retry, a double submission, and a payment processor retry that resulted in two charges for one intended claim.
You do not have to prove which charge was the duplicate. Support matches the payment identifiers to the claim record and refunds the ones that did not produce it.
5. Paid checkouts that arrive too late
A checkout can be paid and still fail to take a territory, because the world moved on while the payment was in flight. That payment is stale, and it is refunded in full and automatically, exactly once. You do not have to ask.
A paid checkout is stale when the payer was the current Boss strengthening a claim and the territory changed at all since the checkout was created, so the difference calculation no longer holds; or when the payer was a challenger and their target no longer clears the current price plus the current minimum increment.
A stale payment never takes the territory at a reduced price and is never quietly kept. The refund is recorded against the payment so it cannot be issued twice.
6. Technical failures on our side
If a payment succeeds but the claim is not created because of a fault in this service, the payment is reviewed and refunded, or the claim is completed, whichever correctly reflects what you paid for.
Report anything that looks like this to support with the payment reference. A failure in the payment processor or in your bank is handled with them, and support will help you identify which one it was from the payment record.
7. Fraud and unauthorised payments
If a payment was made from your card without your authorisation, contact support immediately and also contact your bank or card issuer. The operator works with Stripe to investigate the payment and, where the payment is confirmed as unauthorised, refunds it.
Accounts involved in payment fraud are suspended while an investigation runs, and claims created by a fraudulent payment are removed.
8. How long a refund takes
A refund is submitted to Stripe as soon as it is decided. Automatic stale-payment refunds are submitted as part of settling the payment.
How long the money takes to appear is decided by the card network and your bank, not by this service. It commonly takes several business days and can take longer for some issuers. The refund identifier and its status are visible on the payment record once the refund has been submitted.
9. Asking for a refund
Write to buzzicra@gmail.com and include a reference so the payment can be found: the claim reference, the payment reference shown on the receipt, or the territory and the approximate date and time of the payment.
Requests without a reference take longer, because the payment has to be located before anything can be checked. Support answers from the payment record rather than from memory, so the reference is the fastest route to an answer.
10. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits a right you have under the consumer law that applies to you, including any statutory right to cancel or to a refund.
Where that law gives you a stronger right than this policy, that law applies. Where the law allows you to lose a cancellation right by agreeing that a digital service starts immediately, note that a claim is delivered immediately on settlement, which is what you are asking for when you pay.
11. Chargebacks
A chargeback is a dispute you raise with your bank. It does not create, restore or protect a claim, and it does not pause the game: the territory continues to be priced and can be taken by someone else while the dispute runs.
When a chargeback is raised, the claim it relates to may be suspended pending the outcome and the account may be restricted. Repeated chargebacks that are not upheld are treated as abuse under the Terms of Service. Contacting support first is faster and does not put your account at risk.
12. What a completed refund does to a claim
Where a refund returns the whole of the payment that created a claim, and that payment is the only reason the claim exists, the claim is reversed: the placement is removed, and the territory returns to the state and price it had before that payment settled.
An automatic stale-payment refund does not reverse anything, because a stale payment never created a claim in the first place. A refund of a strengthening payment removes the price increase it paid for, and does not remove the underlying claim, which was paid for separately and earlier.
13. Refunds and rule enforcement
Removing content or ending a claim because of a rule violation does not automatically create a refund. Enforcement is a consequence of your own conduct, and the placement was delivered until it was removed.
Where the law that applies to you requires a refund in a particular enforcement situation, that law is followed. Where a territory is suspended for reasons unrelated to your conduct, such as broken boundary data or a contested border, the payment for the affected claim is reviewed and refunded in proportion to what could not be delivered.
