Copyright Policy
Turkish and English versions are provided for convenience. No language version is declared to override the other.
If content on this service infringes your copyright or trademark, you can report it and it will be reviewed by a person. This page sets out exactly what a report has to contain, how it is handled, how the person whose content was removed can respond, and what happens to accounts that infringe repeatedly. Note that no designated copyright agent has been registered for this service, so reports go to the contact address below.
1. What this policy covers
Bosses supply an avatar, a display name, a handle, a short pitch and one promotional link. This policy covers reports that one of those infringes someone's copyright or trademark.
Content on the destination a link points at is not hosted by this service. It is still relevant, because linking to infringing material is a violation of the Community Guidelines, so a report about a destination is acted on here even though the takedown of the material itself belongs to whoever hosts it.
2. There is no registered copyright agent
To be accurate rather than reassuring: no designated agent has been registered for this service with any copyright office, and this page does not claim the protections that registering one would provide.
What exists is the real process described below: a contact address that is read, a review by a person, removal of infringing content, a route for the affected account to respond, and an account-closure policy for repeat infringement.
3. What a report must contain
A report cannot be acted on unless it identifies the work and the content precisely. Include all of the following:
- Your name, and the rights holder's name if you are reporting on their behalf.
- A contact email address that you can be reached at.
- Identification of the work you own: a description, and where the original can be seen, such as a URL or a registration reference.
- Identification of the content on this service: the territory, the Boss handle, and which element is infringing, such as the avatar or the pitch text.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your report is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act for them.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
4. Where to send a report
Send the report to buzzicra@gmail.com with the subject line beginning "Copyright" or "Trademark". Postal reports can be sent to Stimilon LLC, at 30 N Gould St, #54165, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
Send one report per claim of infringement. A single message listing many unrelated accounts takes longer to review than separate, specific reports.
5. How a report is reviewed
Reports are read by a person. The reviewer checks that the report identifies a specific work and specific content, compares them, and considers whether an obvious exception applies, such as the use being the reporter's own content, a licence being visible, or the material being too generic to be protected.
If the report is incomplete, you are told what is missing rather than having the report silently dropped. If the report is clear, the content is removed while the account is contacted.
6. What happens to the content
Infringing profile content is removed. Depending on what was infringing, that means clearing the avatar, the display name, the handle, the pitch text, or the link, and the account is told which element was removed and why.
Removing profile content does not by itself remove the underlying claim, and it does not by itself create a refund. See the Refund Policy.
Where the report concerns the destination of a link, the link is removed here and the reporter is pointed at the host of that destination, which is where the material itself can be taken down.
7. Responding to a removal
If your content was removed and you believe the report was wrong, you can respond. Write to buzzicra@gmail.com from the account's email address and include:
- Which content was removed, and the territory it was on.
- Why you believe it does not infringe: you own it, you are licensed, the use is permitted by law, or the report identified the wrong account.
- Any evidence, such as the original file, a licence, or a registration.
- A statement that the information you give is accurate.
Your response is reviewed by a person. Where the law that applies gives you a formal counter-notice procedure, that procedure is followed, including any waiting period it requires before content can be restored. Where it does not, the review above is what happens, and you are told the outcome either way.
8. Repeat infringement
Accounts that infringe repeatedly are closed. A report that is upheld counts against an account; a report that is withdrawn, successfully answered, or found to be wrong does not.
Closure ends the account's claims. It does not refund payments that have already settled, except where applicable law requires it.
9. Misusing this process
Sending a knowingly false report to remove a competitor, to silence criticism, or to take a territory is abuse of this process. Reports of that kind are rejected, and repeat abuse leads to the reporter's own account being closed.
If a false report caused content to be removed, the content is restored.
